Hey guys! So many people have asked me recently what I use for skin care. As much as I wish I could give a long list of products for you to try, I actually only use a few products to keep my skin clear and fresh! I’m excited to be able to share these products with y’all, as well as a few skin care tips, and some of my favorite makeup items I use every day!

When I was little, my mom worked as a Mary Kay sales director for a couple years. She always had every Mary Kay product at her fingertips and still does. Obviously, this started my obsession with makeup at an early age, as I was a true girly girl! She got me hooked on using Mary Kay, but specifically three items that I can’t go a day without. These three staple Mary Kay skin care products are the TimeWise 3-In-1 Cleansing Face Soap Bar, Intense Moisturizing Cream, and Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel. I usually HATE bars of soap because they leave your skin feeling dry and sticky. However, this face soap bar does not leave any film, I promise! After I wash my face, I immediately apply a small dab of the moisturizer all over my face. I love this moisturizer because it is very thin and very soothing! Also major bonus, it does not cause my face to break out like many products do. I have been pretty blessed with clear skin (knock on wood), but I am FAR from perfect and still have those days where I need to wear a hat to cover a zit on my forehead! Fortunately, the Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel works like a miracle! I just apply a tiny bit of the gel before I go to bed, after I have used the moisturizer, and usually by morning my face is 10x better. 

If I can give one tip I believe is the most important in order to keep a great complexion, it would be to wash your face every night! Most important tip number two is try to keep your face shielded from the sun, especially in these upcoming Texas summer days! Yes, these products work great, but without taking proper care of your skin on top of them, they won’t give you the results you desire. By following this routine, I’ve had pretty good luck and I hope it works well for you too! I strongly recommend using Mary Kay, for they have always come through with great results for me! Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm “Sunny Berry”: For the days that you don’t want to wear lipstick, but also don’t want to have pale lips! Gives the soothing feeling of lip balm with the perfect touch of color to your light makeup days.

Stila MATTE’ificent Lipstick: I wear this light pink color almost every day…stays all day too!
