One of my favorite things to look forward to when the Spring season rolls around is breaking out my favorite dresses… and buying new ones of course! However, good ole Texas has been letting me down recently with this cold weather! I shouldn’t complain too much because we all know the Texas heat is coming soon and we will definitely have plenty of it, which means DRESSES!

Personally, I love wearing black. It’s probably my favorite color to wear and takes up most of my closet! But I have a hard time wearing black at this time of year because when I think of Spring I think of light, feminine colors. Luckily, I have found some super cute light colored dresses for this season that I absolutely love…and they’re all under $50! I also found a couple gingham pieces that I adore, because 1. I love the gingham trend and 2. It allows me to still wear black in the Spring but keeps it fresh at the same time! Here are some of my top picks (click on the picture to shop!):

I tried on this chambray dress from Urban Outfitters the other day and I’m definitely planning on going back to buy it! It’s super light and soft, making it perfect for Spring and Summer. It also looks adorable with a neck scarf and straw tote bag. $49

Another trend I’m loving is the tie fronts and cut-outs! The shape of this mini dress is so simple but the tie front and low cut adds the cutest touch. This dress comes in 2 colors! $49

This white midi dress with polka dots is similar to the dress I posted a few weeks ago in my first blog post (obviously I love this look)! I linked one from Nordstrom, but if you are looking for something less expensive there’s one from Target almost identical! $49 or $27.99

I know I said black is my fav color to wear, but this blush color might take its place! Love the ruffle sleeves and the tie, which makes the shape so flattering. $24.99

This one is for those Spring days when Texas decides to hold on to a little bit of Winter! I love the ties on the sleeves because it makes a simple sweater dress unique! Just complete the outfit with sneakers or sandals. $49
